به گزارش گالري آنلاين، در کتاب کتاب تزئيني 2018 Anne Anlin Cheng آمده است، ظرف چيني در تخيل غربي حضوري بينظير داشته و در توليدات هنري چين اهميت دارد. تحقير آن را مي توان با کاهش ارزش نيروي کار و مردم چين مرتبط کرد. اين ماده اي است که داراي سنت غني و تاريخ استعماري لايه اي است. اين را مي توان به سراميک در کل و ارتباط آن با شرق آسيا نيز تعميم داد.
