The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw is hosting an open, one-stage design competition for a viewing platform at the Museums headquarters’s construction site.

The aim of the competition is to develop a concept for the viewing platform, which intrigues, attracts and encourages entry and familiarization with information about the Museum and its construction.

The main prize in the Competition is the implementation of the winning project. In addition, three two-month internships will also be awarded.

The temporary installation will serve both as a view point and information center located in the direct vicinity of the construction site. The viewing platform will become a symbol of the investment: intriguing, attracting people, and thus bringing the institution closer to the audience.

Participation in the contest is open to international young artists, architects, and engineers—born after 1990.

Competition entries must be submitted by 12th August 2019, before 3 PM. Representatives of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, WARBUD SA (General Contractor), The City of Warsaw, and APA WOJCIECHOWSKI SP. Z O.O. company will be appointed as the jury of the contest.

All questions can be addressed to newbuilding@artmuseum.pl.
