CLASSICS the Small Luxury Design Award 2024
CLASSICS the Small Luxury was launched in 2003 based on the concept of "a small luxury in the palm of your hand. The company's parent company, Blooming Nakanishi, was established in 1879, and has been using the know-how and techniques that have been passed down through the years. The company is a specialty handkerchief store that creates original designs for each season by combining the techniques and techniques inherited from the parent company, Blooming Nakanishi, which was founded in 1879, with the sensibilities of today.
We have collaborated with many artists in Japan and abroad to produce handkerchiefs. We seek to expand new charms and possibilities of handkerchiefs by infusing them with the power of design. In 2020, we established "CLASSICS the Small Luxury Design Award" in order to support artists' activities and to make design more intimate for people.
The design theme for the fourth edition of the CLASSICS the Small Luxury Design Award 2024 is "HAPPY
A cheerful piece. A piece that brightens up the place. A piece that makes you feel cheerful just by holding it. A piece that makes you feel positive even when you are down. We are looking for designs that make you feel "HAPPY".
