آثار معمار برجسته ی اسپانیایی_مکزیکی Félix Candela با همکاری دانشگاه ایلینوی شیکاگو و دانشگاه UNAM مکزیک در شیکاگو به نمایش درآمده است.
به گزارش گالری آنلاین، یکی از احساسی‌ترین قصیده‌ها درباره بتن، ساختمان مواج و نازک Candela (کندلا) باشد. او درست مانند یک عاشق، هرگز احساساتش را پنهان نمی‌کند. Candela، در مورد زیبایی این ماده ساختمانی و طرح خود، با شور و هیجان صحبت می‌کند: من فکر می‌کنم که بهتر از این نمی‌شود؛ پوسته دقیقاً همان چیزی است که باید باشد؛ ساده، خوش‌ترکیب و سبک. در واقع، عشق Candela به بتن، باورنکردنی بود. در دنیای امروز، شاید فقط Tadao Ando (تادائو آندو)، اینچنین از بتن تعریف و تمجید می‌کند.
