As part of the 20th Treviso Comic Book Festival edition (TCBF 2023), Associazione Fumetti in Treviso announces the International Contest for New Comic Authors 2023.

The International Contest for New Comic Authors 2023’s theme is Light Things.

Three main prizes will be awarded in 2023. 500 Euro are reserved for the First prize, 300 Euro for the Second prize, and 200 Euro for the Third prize.

The contest addresses all beginner comic authors of legal age who want to test their skills and try to create a comic story.

It is possible to participate both alone or as a group of artists. In order to participate in the contest, each participant (or group of participants) is required to submit a comic story about this year’s theme within the deadline.

Participants have full artistic freedom in the interpretation of the theme as well as in the choice of drawing techniques and colouring styles. The submitted artwork can be black and white or in color.

Entry to the competition is free. Participation in the competition automatically implies acceptance of the contest’s regulations.

The TCBF 2023 – International Competition For New Comic Book Authors is created in collaboration with Banca Prealpi SanBiagio — Credito Cooperativo.
