PADA International Art Residency 2026 Call
This art residency program offers artists from around the world the opportunity to focus on their work in a post-industrial space near Lisbon, Portugal. The residency includes various support systems such as curatorial guidance, visits to galleries and museums, a final exhibition, and documentation of the works.
Program Details
Location: Parque Empresarial do Barreiro, near Lisbon, Portugal.
Duration: Residencies typically last 1 to 2 months. The specific dates for 2026 are:
PADA 57: April - May (April 7, 2026 to June 2, 2026)
PADA 58: June - July (June 9, 2026 to August 3, 2026)
PADA 59: September (September 1, 2026 to September 28, 2026)
PADA 60: October - November (October 6, 2026 to November 30, 2026)

Private studio and accommodation

Historical and industrial tours of the region
Visits to museums and galleries in Lisbon

Documentation of artworks and the artistic process
Cost: The residency fee is 1550 Euros per month, which includes the studio, accommodation, and access to facilities. Artists are expected to self-fund their expenses, and PADA encourages them to apply for grants.

How to Apply: Applications are submitted through an Open Call, and applicants must fill out the online application form. All documents must be submitted in English.
