Call for Entries: RP Critical Writing Prize
This is an international competition for new writing on contemporary portrait painting, organized by The Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
The program aims to encourage creative writers and foster intellectual dialogue about contemporary portraiture. The winning texts will be published in the annual RP Exhibition Catalogue.
Timeline: The three winning texts will be published in the RP Annual Exhibition Catalogue in May 2026.
Prizes:
First Prize: £500
Special Mention: Two prizes of £250 each
