Wildlife Artist Of The Year 2024

The inclusion of a dedicated Youth Exclusive category for young artists aged 15-19 highlights the competition’s commitment to nurturing new talent and encouraging young voices in the field of wildlife art.

The fee is £25 per artwork for the first two entries, and £15 for each subsequent entry. For the Youth Exclusive category (ages 15-19), the fee is £15 per entry.
Eligibility
Open worldwide to all artists, amateur and professional, who are at least 15 years old.
Prize
The overall winner receives £10,000, which includes a £5,000 personal cash prize and a £5,000 donation to a David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) supported conservation initiative of their choice. The runner-up gets £2,000, including a £1,000 personal cash prize and a £1,000 donation. There are also category prizes of £500 each. Special prizes include the Elizabeth Hosking Watercolour Prize and the Michelle Lee Howk First Time Entrants Prize, each offering a £500 cash prize. The Youth Exclusive category winner also receives a £500 cash prize.
