چهاردهمین دوره دوسالانه گوانگجو، "نرم و ضعیف مانند آب" عنوان خود را از خطی در تائو ته چینگ با تاکید بر ظرفیت آب برای نفوذ به چیزهای به ظاهر غیرقابل نفوذ وام گرفته است.

به گزارش گالری آنلاین، این نمایشگاه، که شامل ساختمان سالن اصلی نمایشگاه، چهار مکان ماهواره‌ای و 9 غرفه ملی دیگر است، دیدگاهی جهانی و در عین حال محلی را در مورد معنای هنر در زمان تعصب، تقسیم و درگیری خودکار و افزایش یافته ما پیشنهاد می‌کند.

دوسالانه امسال با 79 هنرمند و گروه از کشورهای عمدتاً غیر غربی یا جهانی جنوبی، دیدگاهی از شیوه‌های هنری ارائه می‌دهد که توسط دیدگاه غربی و اروپامحور نادیده گرفته شده‌اند.
